What is Alpha Tocopherol?

Alpha Tocopherol functions as an antioxidant, and, as a fat-soluble compound, it is particularly effective against cellular oxidation which occurs at the cellular membrane where fat/lipid layer resides (fats are particularly susceptible to oxidation). Alpha Tocopherol has also been shown to prevent LDL oxidation and platelet aggregation.

What are Tocotrienols?

Tocotrienols have antioxidant activity. They may also have hypocholesterolemic, anti-atherogenic, antithrombotic, anticarcinogenic and immunomodulatory actions.
