INI's hemp oil consists of 78% of essential fatty acids, of which
57% is linoleic (LA) and 19% is
linolenic (LNA) acids in the 3:1 ratio required by our bodies.
These essential fatty acids are the building blocks of longer chain fats, i.e.
EPA and DHA, that occur in cold-water fish (salmon, mackerel, sardines). Hemp
oil also contains 1.7% of GLA or gamma-linoleic acid. GLA stimulates growth of
hair and nails, improves health of skin and can reduce inflammation.

Hemp oil contains
more EFA's than flax oil. It is also free of potential toxic contaminants
commonly found in fish oil supplements. It also provides the perfect 3:1 EFA
balance.
Because we can
not synthesize EFA's, supplemental EFA is suggested. Due to increasing levels of
contaminants found in our food supply, specifically in coldwater fish, hemp seed oil is an ideal supplement. |

Essential fatty
acids refers to two fatty acids,
Linoleic (LA) Omega-6 and
Linolenic (LNA)
Omega-3 acids, that our body cannot synthesize. It is very
important to balance Omega-3 and Omega-6 levels. More often than not, the
American diet provides more Omega-6 than Omega-3 3. Hemp Oil helps restore
this balance and lead the way to better health.
