Why use
Tabit® ? |
|
Tabit® is an herbal
preparation indicated for acute or
chronic loose stool, lower intestinal cramps caused by bacteria or food-borne
bacteria, flatulence or related problems caused by stomach bacteria. Tabit® is also
suggested for general GI tract health, especially when it is
compromised by fungal, yeast or bacterial infestation. Tabit® contains a
powerful tannin: the extracts of wild rhubarb
root or Canaigre. It is complexed with Zinc and
with Proline and Hydroxyproline amino acids.
|
|
Who should consider
this formula?

Tabit® is available to adults and children above 4 years
of age. Long term therapies not recommended for severe diarrhea symptoms lasting
more than 2-3 days as a more serious condition may be the cause of the diarrhea, and
medical attention should be sought. Tabit® is also suggested for flatulence,
complications caused by abnormal floral overgrowth,
traveler's diarrhea.
|
|
How does Tabit® work?

Tabit® works in the same manner as Tanalbit®: attaching to the outer membrane
of the target cell (in this case bacteria) which disables the cell and prevents
proliferation and growth. Like Tanalbit® it is non-toxic with the
occasional minimal side effect of constipation. If this occurs, reduction in
dosage is suggested.
