Intensive Nutrition Inc.®
was founded in 1968 as
Scientific Consulting
Service, by Dr. Bela Balogh
(PhD, Biochemist).
Initially, Dr. Balogh
consulted oncologists and
other health professionals
on nutrition, and helped
develop nutritional programs
for patients. His consulting
led to full-scale product
development, and soon
thereafter, the development
of the Intensive Nutrition®
line and a company name
change.
Intensive Nutrition® Inc.
continues the SCS tradition
of customer education, and,
as its name suggests,
focuses on the manufacture
of scientifically backed,
vigorously researched
dietary supplements
that are unique in their
composition and efficacy. It is
particularly important to manufacture products that work with the
body's biochemical processes and as a consequence of our commitment
to this goal, Intensive Nutrition® supplements exhibit the highest bioavailability.

Intensive Nutrition® focuses on
high quality, bioavailability (efficacy), customer
education and superior customer service.
For example:

INI products
are manufactured in-house at our San Leandro,
California facility
which allows us exceptional access to all levels
of the manufacturing process
at every point in the manufacturing process.

INI products
are manufactured according to the standards set forth by
the U.S. Pharmacopeia and are of pharmaceutical quality.

All of our
raw materials are certified KOSHER and we conduct raw material testing to ensure product quality
and efficacy.

Many of
our products have undergone solubility testing to ensure
bioavailability and efficacy.

Our
product literature available online and via mail is
written for ease of understanding by both laypersons and
health professionals. We make sure that all of our
customers are well-informed about our products and their
uses.

Our
Client Service representatives are also well-educated
about our product line. We always have a "real" person
available for someone to talk to, and, return all emails
within 24 hours, most often sooner. Our Director, Olivia
Melaugh, is available to customers as "Ask
Olivia" where she will answer all product
questions by email or phone. She is also
available to consult on dietary regimens (a
complimentary service).
